Boston University Operations
I have an on-campus job as an Office Assistant for the Senior Vice President for Operations, Derek Howe, where I help support the day-to-day administrative and communications needs of the office.
My responsibilities include managing front desk communications, preparing internal documents, and assisting with logistics for departments and stakeholders across the University. I also help maintain the Boston University Operations website by updating content, creating branded pages and posts, and drafting news articles and announcements about Operations initiatives and events.
This role has given me valuable experience in professional communication, organization, and digital content management while providing insight into the operations behind a large university.
Life Time Fitness
I was hired as part of the opening team at Life Time Fitness at the Prudential Center in Boston, where I work as a barista and bartender. Being part of a new location has strengthened my customer service, communication, and teamwork skills while allowing me to help create a welcoming experience for members from the start.
Working in a fast-paced environment has also strengthened my ability to adapt quickly, build relationships, and represent the Life Time brand in a positive and professional way.
I am proud to have attended the ribbon-cutting for Life Time’s Prudential Center location in Boston’s Back Bay. The energy around the launch gave me a firsthand look at how public relations brings a brand to life—from media coverage to community engagement. Experiencing that excitement up close reminded me why I love the storytelling side of PR and how transparency and creativity together can shape public connection and brand identity.
