This summer, I interned at the Massachusetts State House as a Media and Communications Intern in the Executive Office of the State Auditor (OSA). Working under the supervision of Alysha Palumbo Garvin, I gained hands-on experience in public relations, social media, content creation, and government communications.
Throughout the summer, I had the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while gaining a deeper understanding of how strategic communication supports the work of the State Auditor’s Office and connects government with the public.
OSA Capstone Presentation
This presentation provides an overview of my experience with the OSA. It features a selection of my work from throughout the summer, including social media content, projects, and major State House events I attended. It also reflects the skills I strengthened along the way and the range of responsibilities I took on during my internship.
