Paramount Pictures: Business as a Force for Good
In the spring of 2026, I worked with a team of six peers to analyze Paramount Pictures and determine the extent to which the company operates as a “force for good” within the media and entertainment industry. As part of Business, Markets, and Society (QST SM131), we applied course concepts and frameworks to examine Paramount’s business strategy, industry value chain, economic and political environment, corporate governance, key stakeholders, and ethical challenges.
Our analysis explored how the company creates and distributes value among its stakeholders and concluded with recommendations for strengthening its overall impact. We presented our findings through a research-based team presentation.
In the spring of 2025, I worked with a team to propose the creation of the Massachusetts AI Regulatory and Compliance Office (MARCO), a state agency designed to promote transparency, accountability, and responsible practices surrounding artificial intelligence. As part of the project, we developed the agency’s purpose and approach while considering the growing ethical and societal challenges associated with AI. The experience strengthened my ability to translate complex policy and technology topics into clear, accessible ideas for broader audiences. It also sparked my interest in the intersection of technology, ethics, communication, and public trust.

During my freshman and sophomore years at Boston University, I was a student in the College of General Studies (CGS), where I completed an interdisciplinary curriculum spanning the humanities, social sciences, rhetoric, ethics, biology, and human ecology. Through these courses, I explored topics ranging from the ancient world and the Industrial Revolution to American foreign policy and global ecology.
This e-Portfolio highlights key projects and work from my time in CGS, culminating in the Capstone project featured above.
