GINA MARTINIELLO
GINA MARTINIELLO
I’m a senior at Boston University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
I’m passionate about crisis and strategic communication, as well as how business principles inform ethical decision-making. I strive to bring integrity, creativity, and initiative to every role I take on, whether in the classroom, workplace, or community.
This summer, I had the pleasure of interning with the Massachusetts Office of the State Auditor as a Media and Communications Intern, where I gained hands-on experience in public relations, social media, and government communications. Alongside my internship, I worked as a barista at Life Time Fitness at the Prudential Center in Boston.
Outside of work and my internship, I spent much of my summer traveling, exploring new places, and making the most of new experiences while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.

Volunteering
I have enjoyed giving back to my community by volunteering as a judge for the Boston Debate League (BDL) at Suffolk University.
I evaluated middle and high school students with a range of communication needs, including students navigating language barriers and receiving special accommodations. Through thoughtful, constructive feedback, I helped students strengthen their arguments, build confidence in public speaking, and develop their critical thinking skills.
As a Public Relations major, this experience reinforced the importance of adapting communication to different audiences, listening with empathy, and delivering feedback in a way that is both clear and encouraging.
