GINA MARTINIELLO
GINA MARTINIELLO
I’m a junior at Boston University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration & Management. I’m passionate about crisis and strategic communication, as well as how business principles inform ethical decision-making. I strive to bring integrity, creativity, and initiative to every role I take on, whether in the classroom, workplace, or community.
Currently, I’m balancing two jobs while being involved in clubs and activities across campus. At Boston University, I work in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Operations, assisting with communications, specifically website updates and content creation for university initiatives. Outside of BU, I work at Life Time Fitness, where I’ve developed strong customer service and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.

During the spring of 2025, my team and I proposed the creation of the Massachusetts AI Regulatory and Compliance Office (MARCO), a state agency act focused on promoting transparency and accountability in artificial intelligence. That experience taught me how to translate complex policy ideas into language that resonates with everyday audiences. It also sparked my interest in the intersection of technology, ethics, and public trust. I’m passionate about using clear, thoughtful communication to make innovation feel both accessible and responsible.
I am proud to have attended the ribbon-cutting for Life Time’s Prudential Center location in Boston’s Back Bay. The energy around the launch gave me a firsthand look at how public relations brings a brand to life—from media coverage to community engagement. Experiencing that excitement up close reminded me why I love the storytelling side of PR and how transparency and creativity together can shape public connection and brand identity.
